The proclamation ceremony of DocNomads 5th Edition was held on the 29th June, by when 26 students of this class received their graduation diplomas.

The documentary short “Rainbow Children - Portrait of Elika“ directed by Maryam Bayani, a student from Iran, had its World Premiere at the Children and Youth Film Competition of the 64th Oberhausen International Short Film Festival held from 3 to 8 May 2018 in Germany.
The film was also selected to the 10th International Film Festival for Young Audiences - Filem'On which will be held in late October in Belgium.
Two graduation films, DOEI by Pien van Grinsven, and Histories of Wolves by Xinyang Meng were selected for the short films competition at the 15th Indie Lisboa International Film Festival, held from 26 April to 6 May.
