The 4th International Student Documentary Film Festival FIDÉ | Brazil presented a special screening of films by DocNomads students.
The world premiere of The Next Guardian, a documentary co-directed in Bhutan by two DocNomads alumni, Dorottya Zurbó and Arun Bhattarai, will be held in the IDFA Competition for First Appearance which aims at supporting talented new filmmakers.
Dorottya’s and Arun’s project was previously supported by IDFA Bertha Fund. The film is a co-production of Éclipse Film (Hungary) and Sound Pictures (Bhutan).
DocNomads received a distinction as an International Film School for the creative approach and development of the forms of storytelling awarded by the Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” in which our school was represented by two films of students currently enrolled in DocNomads 5th edition (2016-18), which were screened in the festival’s section National Film Schools Competition.
The documentary short “Let There Be Night” directed by Benjamin Hameury, a DocNomads student from France, was awarded Best Short Film in the 10th DocuWest Documentary Festival held in Denver, USA.

DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
