AMONG YOUR WORDS, THERE IS A SECRET
By Hassan Raza • 29’ • 2026
Synopsis:
A filmmaker returns to his hometown of Quetta, Pakistan, for his sister’s wedding after years of living away. What begins as a family occasion gradually becomes something quieter and more personal: a rare window of time to be with his mother and to encounter her story more deeply than he ever has before.
It is not a film about resolution or reconciliation. It is about a son trying to know his mother more deeply, while quietly acknowledging that complete understanding may remain impossible.
