The graduation film To Feather, to Wither, directed by Hanna Hovitie, an alumna from Finland, will have its World Premiere in competition at the 63rd DOK Leipzig - International Festival for Documentary and Animated Film held from 26 October to 1 November.
The documentary short “First Birthday After the Apocalypse”, directed by Farah Hasanbegović, a student from Bosnia-Herzegovina, will have its World Premiere at Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival and its Portuguese Premiere in the Green Years section of DocLisboa International Documentary Film Festival.
Three DocNomads films were recently screened in international film festivals: Laura Taillefer Viñas´s HER SONG, Clare Edlund’s AN EARFUL, and Kristen van Schie’s KIDS THESE DAYS.
Following a competitive Erasmus Mundus application, DocNomads programme has been selected for co-funding by the EACEA - Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission for the period of 2020-2025.
DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
The DOC NOMADS EMMC has three full partners and enjoys the backing of 19 European and non-European associated members.
