Nanu Tudor awarded in Ismailia, Egypt

"My Uncle Tudor" won the award for the Best Short Documentary at the 22nd Ismailia International Film Festival, the highest-rated documentary film festival and shorts in the Arab world, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and CNC of Egypt, which took place between 16 and 22 June in Ismailia, at the gates of the Suez Canal.

Synopsis:
After 20 years of silence, the filmmaker travels back to the house of her great-grandparents, where she passed through harmful events that left a deep imprint on her memory forever. The long-awaited family gathering runs counter to her attempts to overcome the past.
