Budapest’s Memento Park is an ideological graveyard where uprooted communist-era monuments are reinstalled in conversation. What might they say now? Children lead this imaginative inquiry, interviewing passing tourists and older Hungarian visitors who lived through communism. Riffing on the title of a 1953 Chris Marker and Alain Resnais short, this playful elegy to fallen political aspirations probes crumbling stone for lingering sparks of life.
