Alumni of DocNomads present two films in Visions du Réel, The Silhouettes by Afsaneh Salari, and A Rifle and a Bag by Arya Rothe, Christina Hanes and Isabella Rinaldi.
Upon conclusion of its first five editions, DocNomads programme was selected as a Success Story by a panel of experts from the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission.
The documentary short TERRARIA, directed by Hanna Hovitie during the 6th edition of DocNomads, was selected to take part in the national competition at 50th Tampere Film Festival, held in Finland between 4 and 8 March.
Angie Obeid´s graduation film PACIFIC was recently awarded the Silver Tanit for Short Documentaries in Carthage Film Festival (Tunisia), the Short Film Best Director in Aswan International Women Film Festival (Egypt), and the Best Documentary Short Film in Brussels Independent Film Festival (Belgium).
DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
