The documentary short Mum directed by Siddhant Sarin and presented in the 25th International Festival MUSIC & CINEMA Marseille (MCM) won the Matthieu Hoche Award for Best Documentary, and the Maritima TV "Med in Doc" Award at this festival held in April.
Coming Back to Life, directed by Mantra Watsa, is having its World Premiere in the Shorts competition at the 31st HotDocs Film Festival held in Toronto from April 25 to May 5.
Two more films authored by DocNomads alumni will be also presented at HotDocs 2024.
I Did Not Wake Up Dead Today, directed by Erin Macpherson, was selected to the 67th San Francisco International Film Festival held in USA from 24 to 28 of April.
Sachin’s short documentary In Flanders Fields will have its World Premiere in the Opening Scenes competition, and Daryna Mamaisur’s graduation film Smoke of the Fire will have its Swiss Premiere in the Doc Alliance Selection at Visions du Réel International Documentary Film Festival held from 12 to 21 of April in Nyon, Switzerland.
Three more films directed by DocNomads alumni will be also premiering at Visions du Réel 2024.
