Consortium Universities

In order to provide a high quality European Masters Course in Documentary Film Directing, three European HEIs with different pedagogical approaches and experiences in higher education have been chosen for the Consortium:

SZFE - Színház és Filmművészeti Egyetem / University of Theatre and Film Arts

The coordinating institution of the programme, SZFE is known for an educational approach based on solid master-apprentice relationships, on small-group tuition, as well as on having internationally acclaimed authors, directors and cinematographers within its faculty. From its very beginning, documentary filmmaking has been part of the school’s film and television training, and in 2011 SZFE launched its own Masters Course in Documentary Filmmaking.

LUCA’s professional facilities and sound studio give students the chance to deepen their technical knowledge, providing them greater freedom to specialise in those aspects of documentary important to them, and to follow their artistic ambitions.
