Kristen van Schie´s The Summer Before Seventh Grade will premiere in the Kids DOK section, and Diego Quinderé de Carvalho’s graduation film 0.2 Milligrams of Gold will have its European Premiere at the 64th edition of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film held from 25 to 31 October.
The International Film Festival DocLisboa selected films of DocNomads students to screen in its Portuguese Competition and Green Years section during the 19th edition of the festival held from 21 to 31 October 2021.
Taymour Boulos´s documentary short film It’s Just Another Dragon premiered in the New Asian Currents competition of Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival held between 7th and 14th October.
MY UNCLE TUDOR, which has been the recipient of several prizes so far, lately won the Best Int. Short Documentary awards in the 24th Guanajuato Film Festival (Mexico) and in the 16th Shorts México, also the Best Short Film Award at 14th Beldocs (Serbia) and the Best Director Award in the Romanian competition at the 28th Astra Film Festival.
