DocNomads films selected to Festival dei Popoli, Italy
That Tiny Place Where Light Comes In by Giulianna Camarena and Home is 1117 KM Away by Marta Smerechynska will be presented in the section “DOC at Work Future Campus” of the 64th edition of Festival dei Popoli, the leading International Documentary Film Festival in Italy and the oldest in Europe which this year is held from 2 to 10 November in Florence, Italy.
DocNomads film awarded in Mumbai, India
The film Coming Back to Life directed by Mantra Watsa won the Special Jury Prize in the competitive section Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films at the 25th MAMI - Mumbai Film Festival held from 19 to 24 October.
The film premiered in HotDocs Film Festival held in Toronto, and has been presented at the Tirana International Film Festival (Albania) and at the Int. Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (India).
DocNomads film selected to Molodist, Ukraine
Lesia Diak’s graduation film Wounds will be presented in competition at the 52nd Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival held from 26 of October to 3 of November in Ukraine.
The film premiered in competition at the 53rd Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival on April 26th, Germany, and won the Jury Award in the Documentary Films Category at the 64th international Zlin Film Festival, Czechia.
