Coming Back to Life by Mantra Watsa, Reading You by Angeline The, and Tale of the Three Flames by Juliette Menthonnex will be presented in the Student films competition at the 22nd Tirana International Film Festival held from 22 to 28 September in Albania.
The inaugural semester of DocNomads 13th Edition (2024-2026) has started this week in Lisbon with an international class of 24 students from Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Colombia, Germany, India, Israel, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Serbia, Sweden, Tajikistan, United Kingdom.
The film Ode to Happiness directed by Jake Bellew and Anastasia Koutsonanou won the Mimesis Emerging Artist Award in the Mimesis Documentary Film Festival held between 14 and 18 August.
Maria Casas Castillo´s graduation film Dust is a whale, is sunlight, and Sachin’s doc short In Flanders Fields were selected for competition in the ARKIPEL Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival held between August 22 to September 3.
