The film I Kiss Your Hand, Madame directed by Jeremy Luke Bolatag won the Best Documentary Short Film in the Brussels Independent Film Festival held between 3 and 9 February.

Synopsis:
After living a heteronormative life for 50 years, Mónika finally goes through with her orchiectomy.
The filmmaker follows Mónika’s first steps in her gender-affirmation journey as a transwoman: her new relationship with her body and with her biological 11-year-old son, Gabi, as she also navigates the repressive Orbán regime in Hungary.
