The film Ode to Happiness directed by Jake Bellew and Anastasia Koutsonanou won the Mimesis Emerging Artist Award in the Mimesis Documentary Film Festival held between 14 and 18 August.
Statement of the 2024 Mimesis Shorts Jury: “"It was pure pleasure to free the head from language for these vignettes and enjoy the smallest gestures, with cinematography that respects and frames them beautifully: incredible use of reflected light that mirrors the inward reflections of the lead.
