Two DocNomads films were featured in the short film programme The Sea at IberoDocs — Scotland’s first showcase dedicated to Ibero-American culture, with a focus on documentary cinema from Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American filmmakers.

As part of the programme’s activities, DocNomads alumna María Goya Barquet led a masterclass on the intersection between nature, documentary, and the cinematic framing of landscapes.

The documentary short Mao Rong Po directed by Shaojun Wang and Sebastian Molina Ruiz was selected to the 27th Guanajuato International Film Festival, held between 25 July and 3 August in Mexico.

The film premiered in the short films programme of the 32nd Sheffield DocFest held in UK from 18 to 23 of June.
