DocNomads film selected to Zlin, Czechia

Lesia Diak’s graduation film Wounds was presented in the student documentaries section in the 64th international Zlin film festival held from 30 May to 5 June in Czechia.
The film premiered in competition at the 53rd Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival on April 26th, Germany.

Synopsis:
Women who lost their husbands and sons in the large-scale Russian war against Ukraine process grief in the Carpathians.
But the beautiful landscapes do not cover the deep hole of loss.
Tamara, Liubov and Svitlana mourn their beloved ones with the help of poetry, sisterhood, and memories.
At some point silent nature gets a voice to cry together with humans.
