Dust is a whale, is sunlight, the graduation documentary of María Casas Castillo has been selected for the Short Film Competition at IceDocs - Iceland Documentary Film Festival held in Akranes between 17 and 21 July.
The film premiered last October at Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, Czech Republic.
Anna Mkrtumyan’s short documentary ARMAT will have its World Premiere at the 21st Golden Apricot International Film Festival held between 7 and 14 July in Yerevan, Armenia.
Also in Golden Apricot will be presented WE ARE INSIDE, a feature-length documentary directed by DocNomads alumna Farah Kassem.
Sebastian Molina Ruiz’s A Flower Blooms in the Remains was awarded Best Short Film at the 39th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) held in Mexico.
The proclamation ceremony of DocNomads 11th Edition was held on the 28th of June when 23 students received their graduation diplomas.
