Erin Macpherson´s I DID NOT WAKE UP DEAD TODAY will premiere in the International Competition, whereas Cyrielle Raingou’s MOTHER JUST A SMILE and Ruslan Fedotow’s AWAY will be presented in the same competition at Tampere Film Festival held in Finland between 8 and 12 of March.
Erin Macpherson´s short doc It's not Fado, It's Faggot Fado will be presented in the international programme of DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival held from January 31 to February 5 in Finland.
The film premiered last year in the 20th edition of DOCLISBOA film festival.
THE SILENCE OF THE BANANA TREES the graduation film of Eneos Çarka, a student from Albania, won the TËNK PRIZE to the best documentary in the YOUNG CREATION competition at FIPADOC – International Film Festival Biarritz held in France between 20 and 28 of January.
The graduation film Mother just a smile, directed by Cyrielle Raingou, a student from Cameroon, will have its World Premiere in the short and mid-length section of the 52nd International Film Festival Rotterdam held between 25 January and 5 February.
Cyrielle’s first feature-length documentary Le Spectre de Boko Haram is also world premiering at Rotterdam under the Tiger Competition section.
