Festival activities and Entrepreneurship

Course Supervisor: Péter Kerekes

Within the framework of this activities-based course unit, students visit international film festivals located in Hungary or in neighboring countries.

Students attend the screenings of recent films and build contacts with festival participants and organisers. They may also take part in guided visits, in professional conferences and other events of the festival programme.

In a special course of entrepreneurship with Boris Mitić, students are introduced to how the documentary industry works, and learn key techniques on how to prepare an application material and how to fund and promote an actual film.
