The 6th BEAST - International Film Festival, with focus in films from the Central and Eastern Europe, presents a special program with the showcase DOCNOMADS – Short Stories, and three more films from graduated students selected to the Official Competition / East Doc section, Budapest Silo, A Hand And A Half, The Silence of the Banana Trees.

BEAST will be held between 27 September and 1 October in the city of Oporto.

The short documentary Memories of a Perfect Day by Davina Maria El-Khoury will be presented in the Official Selection of the 22nd Concorto Film Festival held from 19 to 26 of August in Piacenza, Italy.

The film premiered in last April at Visions du Réel, where it was awarded a Special Mention by the Jury of the International Medium Length & Short Film Competition.
