DocNomads films presented in BEAST, Portugal
The 6th BEAST - International Film Festival, with focus in films from the Central and Eastern Europe, presents a special program with the showcase DOCNOMADS – Short Stories, and three more films from graduated students selected to the Official Competition / East Doc section, Budapest Silo, A Hand And A Half, The Silence of the Banana Trees.
BEAST will be held between 27 September and 1 October in the city of Oporto.
BEAST presents the showcase DOCNOMADS – Short Stories aiming to highlight documentary cinema’s profound potential as a storytelling medium and a bridge between cultures, also with the objective of amplifying the innovative works of a new generation and rising filmmakers.
This special program showcases the documentaries Dusk by Bálint Bíró, All Our Nights by Nicole Reale, Viv Li, Zsófia Paczolay, May the Earth Become the Sky by Ana Vîjdea, My Uncle Tudor by Olga Lucovnicova.
