Don’t Hesitate to Come for a Visit, Mom, directed by Anna Artemyeva, is having its International Premiere in the Opening Scenes section at the 52nd Visions du Réel International Documentary Film Festival held in Nyon, Switzerland, from 15 to 25 of April.
Don’t Hesitate to Come for a Visit, Mom by Anna Artemyeva, Spirits and Rocks: an Azorean Myth by Aylin Gökmen, My Uncle Tudor by Olga Look, and An Act of Affection by Viet Vu were selected to the Student Competition of the 13th Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, which is the main short film festival in the Netherlands held between 8 and 21 April.
The short documentary The Lamb by Cyrielle Raingou, a student from Cameroon, will have its world première in Docudays UA - International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, held in Ukraine between March 26 and April 4.
Also competing in the Docu/Short section is I Don’t Feel at Home Anywhere Anymore, by Viv Li (China), which premiered at IDFA Amsterdam in late 2020.
Olga Lucovnicova’s graduation film Nanu Tudor / My Uncle Tudor won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film in the 71st Berlinale.
It’s the first time that a DocNomads produced film enters the competition in Berlinale, and by achieving such relevant distinction in a first time makes it a remarkable occasion to celebrate.
