The proclamation ceremony of DocNomads 8th Edition was held on the 23rd of July, by when 25 students received their graduation diplomas.

"My Uncle Tudor" won the award for the Best Short Documentary at the 22nd Ismailia International Film Festival, the highest-rated documentary film festival and shorts in the Arab world, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and CNC of Egypt, which took place between 16 and 22 June in Ismailia, at the gates of the Suez Canal.
MY UNCLE TUDOR, by Olga Lucovnicova, won the main award of the Regional Competition at the 17th ZagrebDox – International Documentary Film Festival held between 13 and 20 of June in Croatia.
Mirna Everhard´s BUT WHY ARE THE BANANAS CROOKED? will premiere in the Short Competition, along with Aylin Gökmen´s SPIRITS AND ROCKS: AN AZOREAN MYTH, at DOKer – Moscow International Documentary Film Festival held from 18 to 27 of June.
