THE SILENCE OF THE BANANA TREES the graduation film of Eneos Çarka, a student from Albania, won the TËNK PRIZE to the best documentary in the YOUNG CREATION competition at FIPADOC – International Film Festival Biarritz held in France between 20 and 28 of January.
The graduation film Mother just a smile, directed by Cyrielle Raingou, a student from Cameroon, will have its World Premiere in the short and mid-length section of the 52nd International Film Festival Rotterdam held between 25 January and 5 February.
Cyrielle’s first feature-length documentary Le Spectre de Boko Haram is also world premiering at Rotterdam under the Tiger Competition section.
Siddhant Sarin´s MUM will premiere in the New Talent competition, also Viktor Németh’s ZONA and Eneos Çarka’s THE SILENCE OF THE BANANA TREES will be presented in the same competition at FIPADOC – International Film Festival Biarritz held in France between 20 and 28 of January.
The proclamation ceremony of DocNomads 9h Edition was held on the 16th of December, by when 21 students received their graduation diplomas.
