“AWAY” awarded at IDFA ‘22

Alexandra Yakovleva´s graduation film Does Space Dream In Bits, Suraj Bhattarai’s doc short Sound of Chewing Leaves, and Daryna Mamaisur’s doc short Sometimes It's Cool, Sometimes It's Not were selected for competition in the 39th Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival held from 15 to 27 November.
The films Away by Ruslan Fedotow, Budapest Silo by Zsófia Paczolay, A Country in a Corner by Neema Ngelime and The Silence of the Banana Trees by Eneos Çarka will premiere in the Competition for Short Documentary at the 35th IDFA - International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, the largest documentary festival worldwide, held between 9 and 20 November 2022.
Also, Mountain Man directed by DocNomads alumnus Arun Bhattarai will premiere at IDFA.
The documentary short RIBS, directed by Farah Hasanbegović, will be presented in the section “DOC at Work Future Campus” of the 63rd edition of Festival dei Popoli, the leading International Documentary Film Festival in Italy and the oldest in Europe which this year is held from 5 to 13 November in Florence, Italy.
