The documentary short Under the Wing of a Night by Lesia Diak will have its World Première at the 30th HotDocs Film Festival held in Toronto from April 27 to May 7.
The film is presented as part of "Films that Bring the Victory Closer – Civil Pitch 2.0" Winning Films sponsored by Docudays UA.
Ghada Fikri´s graduation film How Are You, Baba? and the short documentaries Locus cordis by Alhasan Yousef, Memories of a Perfect Day by Davina Maria, Rui by Ruslan Fedotow, I Stumble Every Time I Hear From Kyiv by Daryna Mamaisur, May the Earth Become the Sky by Ana Vijdea, will premiere at Visions du Réel International Documentary Film Festival held between 21 and 30 of April at Nyon, Switzerland.
Mariana Castiñeiras’ graduation film EXOSKELETONS will have its European Premiere at the 20th CPH:DOX International Film Festival held between 15 and 26 March in Copenhagen. The film premiered in HotDocs Canada 2022, and recently won the Best Short Film Award at José Ignacio Film Festival in Uruguay.
Also in CPH:DOX will be premiering in the main competition MOTHERLAND, a feature-length documentary co-directed by DocNomads alumnus Alexander Mihalkovich.
Erin Macpherson´s I DID NOT WAKE UP DEAD TODAY will premiere in the International Competition, whereas Cyrielle Raingou’s MOTHER JUST A SMILE and Ruslan Fedotow’s AWAY will be presented in the same competition at Tampere Film Festival held in Finland between 8 and 12 of March.
