DocNomads graduation film “From Vincent's House in the Borinage “ directed by José Fernandes, a student from Portugal, had its World Premiere at 11th Punto de Vista - International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra, Spain (March 2017).
ON BODY AND SOUL (Testről és lélekről), directed by Ildikó Enyedi, won the Golden Bear for Best Film the top prize at competition in the 67th Berlin International Film Festival.
Ildikó Enyedi is a member of the faculty staff of University of Theatre and Film Arts (Budapest, Hungary) one of the partner schools of DocNomads.
Atsushi Kuwayama, a DocNomads student from Japan, won the “Sophia” award for best documentary in the student category with “Até à Próxima”, a film he directed during the 1st semester of DocNomads Masters. The “Sophias” are awarded yearly by the Portuguese Film Academy as a prestigious distinction to films made in Portugal.
DocNomads supports the Forum on the Business of Independent Filmmaking and Documentary Distribution that will be held on January 9th in Paris, France.

DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
