The documentary short “She, Gis” (“A Gis”) directed by Thiago Carvalhaes, a DocNomads student from Brazil, is competing in the 14th Documenta Madrid -International Documentary Film Festival held in Madrid, Spain, from 4th to 14th May 2017.
The film was also selected to the 22nd FIRE – LGBT Film Festival held in Barcelona, Spain, from 8 to 18 June 2017.
The documentary short “A Friendship in Tow/Toe” (“Até a pró/cima!”) directed by Atsushi Kuwayama, a DocNomads student from Japan, will have its World Premiere in the 25th HotDocs – Canadian International Documentary Festival held in Toronto from 27th April to 7th May 2017.
The documentary short “Let There Be Night” directed by Benjamin Hameury, a DocNomads student from France, was selected to the 19th Ismailia International Film Festival held in Egypt from 19 to 25 April 2017.
The film was also selected to the Youth Film Competition of the 63rd Oberhausen International Short Film Festival held from 11 to 16 May 2017 in Germany.
Farah Kassem´s “You Make a Better Window Than You Do a Door" and Vahagn Khachatryan´s “The Moon The Sun and The Three Musketeers” will premiere at the 48th Visions du Réel International Documentary Film Festival held in Nyon, Switzerland, from 21 to 29 of April.
