The documentary short “Sun Cream” directed by Aylin Gökmen, a DocNomads student from Switzerland, will be presented in the Official Selection of the 60th Zinebi – Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Film, held from 9 to 16 November in Spain.
Maryam Bayani’s PORTRAIT OF ELIKA won the Youth Vision Award in the 21st United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAAF) held in San Francisco, USA.
Farah Kassem, a graduated student from Lebanon, was awarded by the EWA Network at DOK Leipzig Co-Production Market as the best female directed project for her documentary WE ARE INSIDE.
The 25th Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” (Belarus), held from 2 to 9 November, selected “Bruno Jumps” by Mirna Everhard, “A Roof in Common” by Fan Wu, “Hotel Fremon” by Zilong Yao and “Eastward Go” by Yimeng Zhang for the National Film Schools Competition. “The Zhengs”, also by Yimeng Zhang, will be screened out of competition in the section Children and Youth Film.
DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
