Nanu Tudor’s awarded in Norwegian Short Film Festival
MY UNCLE TUDOR, by Olga Lucovnicova, won the Golden Chair for Best Short Documentary at the 44th Norwegian Short Film Festival held between 9 and 13 June in Grimstad.
Jury statement: “The Golden Chair is awarded to a film that is courageously personal, unflinchingly honest, with a radical emotional generosity. A multi-layered reckoning with trauma, and the way it hides in plain sight.”

Synopsis:
After 20 years of silence, the filmmaker travels back to the house of her great-grandparents, where she passed through harmful events that left a deep imprint on her memory forever. The long-awaited family gathering runs counter to her attempts to overcome the past.
