DocNomads film selected to HOTDOCS, Canada
Angie Obeid´s graduation film PACIFIC was selected to the Shorts Competition at the 27th HOTDOCS, North America’s largest documentary festival held in Toronto, Canada, from April 25 to May 5, 2019.
The film premiered at the 50th Visions du Réel International Documentary Film Festival held in Nyon, Switzerland, from 5 to 13 of April.

Synopsis:
Looming 25 storeys high, an apartment building in Brussels is known colloquially as the "Suicide Tower" after a rash of jumping deaths. With an elegant and subtle survey of her neighbours' reactions, filmmaker and resident Angie Obeid shows how a building can manifest its inhabitants' loneliness and fear of the other into something deadly.
