The documentary short Proof of Life by Dorian Rivière will have its World Première in the International Documentary Film Festival of Buenos Aires held between 2 and 8 October in Argentina.
The 6th BEAST - International Film Festival, with focus in films from the Central and Eastern Europe, presents a special program with the showcase DOCNOMADS – Short Stories, and three more films from graduated students selected to the Official Competition / East Doc section, Budapest Silo, A Hand And A Half, The Silence of the Banana Trees.
BEAST will be held between 27 September and 1 October in the city of Oporto.
The documentary short Sheep, Dog and Wolf (Bárány, Kutya és Farkas) directed by Sujay Yier will have its World Premiere in the 8th Festival de Cine Etnográfico de Ecuador, held between 2 September and 6 October in Quito.
The inaugural semester of DocNomads 12th Edition (2023-2025) started this week in Lisbon with an international class of 24 students from Armenia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Burundi, China, France, Georgia, Hungary, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Russia, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
DOC NOMADS Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is aimed to students from all over the world with a BA degree in Film Studies, in Arts or in Media Communication studies.
The DOC NOMADS EMMC has three full partners and enjoys the backing of 19 European and non-European associated members.
