DocNomads film in official competition at Clermont-Ferrand
The documentary short “She, Gis” (“A Gis”) directed by Thiago Carvalhaes, a DocNomads student from Brazil, was selected for the official competition of the 40th International Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, held from 2 to 10 February.

Synopsis:
Gisberta Salce was a Brazilian trans woman who lived as an immigrant in Portugal. She was brutally murdered ten years ago and became an icon for transsexual rights. This documentary offers a delicate portrait of a woman torn apart by an indifferent world.
