DocNomads film premiers in LOCARNO Film Festival

The documentary “António and Catarina” directed by Christina Hanes, a DocNomads student from Romania, will have its World Premiere in the competitive section Pardi di domani of the 70th Locarno International Film Festival, held from 2 to 12 August in Switzerland.

Synopsis:

Over the course of three years, filmmaker Cristina Haneș comes and goes from Augusto’s – a 70-year-old man – life. Assuming new identities, António and Catarina, they talk about youth, death, love and desire, trapped in a small room in Augusto’s apartment.
