Jacinto Godinho is an Associate Professor at Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, Assistant Professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a researcher at CICANT - Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies.
He is also a journalist at the National Public Broadcaster (RTP) where he has been writing and directing many documentary series, focusing on audiovisual archives and topics of Portuguese history across the XX century.
Jacinto holds a degree in Social Communication (1987) and completed an integrated Master's degree in Communication Sciences (1995) and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences (2005) at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.
