Katalin Miklósy holds an MA degree in Hungarian and English language and literature from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.

She is an experienced teacher of Hungarian as a foreign language. She taught methodology courses at Eötvös Loránd University and worked with teacher trainees for more than ten years.

Presently she teaches Hungarian at McDaniel College and is engaged in teaching a preparatory MA’s degree course for Roma students at the Central European University.
