In 2007 he received the awards of Best Cinematography in European Films (VIII Festival de Cinema Europeu, Lecce, Itália) and Best Cinematography (Festival Cineport, Brazil), both for the film Transe, by Teresa Villaverde. Many of the films in which he worked were selected for important festivals all around the world and received distinctions.
