Advanced Cinematography and Editing

This course aims at provide students with advanced knowledge on techniques and aesthetics in the fields of cinematography and editing.
The cinematography course will approach a wide-ranging of topics such as, the role of the camera in a non-fiction scene, its behavior ethics, level of objectivity and expression, and how a documentary film can build up from visual and lighting elements by using the available circumstances even in low budget conditions.
The editing course will draw, among other topics, on pre-shoot planning and post-production workflow, visual storytelling and dramaturgical questions, rhythm or pace problems, FX and color correction.
