The entire DocNomads programme was assessed by an external international panel and found compliant with all the standards and sub-standards of the ‘European Approach for External Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes’ framework. This panel acted on behalf of the VLUHR Quality Assurance Unit, an EQAR registered agency that carries out assessments in the European Higher Education Area.
After the pilot Summer School held in Lebanon in July of last year, conjointly organized with the School of Cinema and Audiovisual Directing of ALBA-UOB, the DocNomads Summer School of 2019 was held in the South Georgian mountains in cooperation with TAFU - Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University.
DocNomads 8th Edition (2019-2021) started this week in Lisbon with an international class of 25 students from Albania, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Lebanon, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania, Uruguay and Vietnam.
