Florian Berutti (1982) was born in Brussels. After graduating from the art school (Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts, 2002) he decided to devote himself to cinema, and in 2006 he was accepted in the cinematography section at INSAS.
In 2008 he founded, with his friend Alessandro Comodin, the film production company Les Films Nus. Their first production "L’Estate di Giagomo" won the gold Leopard at the Locarno film festival in 2011. In 2012 Florian made his first short film as a director, “Tristesse Animal Sauvage”. The film won several prizes, including the Jury Prize at the Cote-Court festival in Paris.
From the last three years Florian has been working as a colour grader for multiple projects and also as a cinematographer for Claude Schmitz. Meanwhile he passionately dreams about his next film "Les Sombres Forteresses du Coeur".
